In my place
nothing has changed
the languid breeze still fills the field
and sunlight kisses the mountain range
In my place
the sparrow soars high
adorning the wide blue sky
and the cuckoo sings lullyby
In my place
Ducks still swim in open pond
chirping birds breaks the dawn
and the dancing trees sways along
In my place
in the morning blaze
children of tomorrow run and play
shaping the future with wet clay

anorak- this poem seems to be soaked in homesickness. hope you are going home sometime soon. :)
very lovely, BTW.
so lucky u are... in my place "everything is changed" thats why I can't find my home... whn I reach home... everytime I think that.. oh I'm going home... I'll be at home... ah... then when I reach... oh... "where is my home?" I feel.. thats not my home... those are not the people I knew... !! this is humiliating... this is depressing... and u stand helpless... homeless... I know... how hard to face this truth....
u have written so well...i want to visit ur place.. a place of long long time ago...
very nice, a combo of euphoria and despair. the ducks still swim and the children still play in the fields, but the way we are destroyin our fields and water bodies all that may soon change.......very touching full of emotions..................
