The sea is raging
we are like two ants
floating in a paper boat
cradled by the waves of time.

Like a genie in a bottle
I stayed within those glass walls for long
now riding on this crest and turf,
of the water that rips through our world
we float to two different worlds.

I wonder when I would be home,
I wonder when you would touch me
like this breeze which blows from the eastern horizon

Time grows old,
but I fail to surrender,
perhaps one day the mist will devour the worlds
and two souls will once again walk
through this mist forever this way
Life is a series of questions and answers, sometimes there are too many questions and no real answer in sight, you can do everything in hand, being solution-oriented, spiritual, pragmatic and what not but still there are questions which will have no easy answers, and so you wait, wait till time takes another step, wait till there is another day, wait till there is an divine intervention or a deviation, wait believing that nature can conspire to fulfill your wish as Pablo Coelho must have said, wait and sometimes this wait is eternal, like the journey of an eternal soul...

There are demons in my head, they scream all night and you ask me to sleep?

Once again I had a dream,
a dream which sets atop my tree,
we will cull the clouds of hope,
and rain into the barren land,
quench the thirst of the earth
and free the captive wind,
hang from the tree branches,
and run endlessly through the paddy fields
put the touch-me-nots to sleep,
and sleep over the heap of hay
get drunk on their aroma
and see the sun come down,
paint the sky with its crimson brushes,
count the zillion stars which illuminates the night,
follow the fireflies till they disappear in the dark.
Once again, I had a dream.
A dream which sets atop my tree.

Once in a while she looks out of the window
staring at the wide open, she dreams of a land

Once in a while she travels to those places
walking bare-footed through the stiff lanes

Once in a while, she reads tracing its history
writing stories and tales of her longings

Once in a while, she wishes he would pay her a visit
spreading his wings, taking a flight

Once in a while, she looks through her camera
capturing life as it was in photography

Once in a while, she closes her eyes and hears him
saying 'weight of worries is too heavy, calm down'

Once in a while, she believes life can still be beautiful
as walking up the hills, she disappears in the cloud.
