I loved You

So you rise once again,
and here comes your call.
I'm flattered by your love and cares
But Thanks, I don't need them at all.

You had a broken heart,
now its mine which lay in tatters,
You said you found shelter in these eyes,
But I isn't sure if it really matters.

Wasn't you the strongest one,
eloquent and wisest of all?
one who knows life better,
then why did you fall?

You said I should be strong,
find a guy and settle down.
But still you hang on to the rope,
Do you think I am some sort of clown?

My life have always been simple,
Now I ain't too sure what simplicity means.
I wanted to be crazy like you,
how I wish I could see it coming.

A couple of years and you will settle down,
marrying a stranger, You'll live an estranged life.
I pity the girl but I feel more pity for you,
because you'll never know how much I loved you.
