Only for a smoke
I smoked my life away
now I stare at the clouds
search for the reasons all day

And when it rains
i search for my lost tears
that we had shed many years ago
and wish, they had stayed

Realisation sinks in too late
sometimes after it doesn't matter anymore
Still I clung on to my fears
for I am scared to let go

But I know someday, I'll
till then all I want is a little patience
let me wander in the empty alleys
let me be in a trance

I promise I will be back
back to the past
back to the future
back to where I never belonged
