with all my might
and wrapped its thread
around my neck
The kite soar high
breaking the barriers of sky
and opening its arms
it zoomed ringing a silent alarm
I held on to the crease
it fluttered violently in the breeze
As in the vacuum of my mind, I heard
"I shall be released"
"I shall be released".
"The mind has a thousand eyes and the heart but one, yet the light of the whole life dies when love is done
."

Very nice. These kites can be substituted with ordinary people. These relations have been discussed many a times, but none as beautifully as thus.
We always get tugged by our commitments, relationships, friendships, fear of losing back to what is mundane. Only thing that remains is a silent whisper that always says "I shall be released". Beautiful.
Oh to be carried away--gently--and to find new love.
This was a reminder to me that things come more easily to us when we agree to let go. Very thought provoking.
This strikes me quite deeply. The violence required is frightening.
I feel like that kite sometimes! You have grasped an elusive feeling in these words!
@SandyCarlson:
Some kites never return, they just get lost somewhere in the wilderness ... they prefer it that way .... thanks for stopping by... keep walking!!!
@Julie Eger: Some people don't believe in letting go ... they just cling on to the things they love and perish on the way ... God only knows what lies in store for them... thanks for visiting and ur nice comment...keep walking!!!
Lovely ending
a poem that inspires much pondering
