The sea is raging
we are like two ants
floating in a paper boat
cradled by the waves of time.

Like a genie in a bottle
I stayed within those glass walls for long
now riding on this crest and turf,
of the water that rips through our world
we float to two different worlds.

I wonder when I would be home,
I wonder when you would touch me
like this breeze which blows from the eastern horizon

Time grows old,
but I fail to surrender,
perhaps one day the mist will devour the worlds
and two souls will once again walk
through this mist forever this way

It is difficult to imagine how two people who seem to be together are very distant from each other. Such is life...loved your poem!
