An image was forming
amidst the thick vapours
A face emerged
I tried to locate the eyes
but they blended and then faded
A sudden gust of air
washed off the remaining traces
I took another puff
And with all my might
tried to look into her eyes
for one last time
before the night
fades into morning light.
