THE ORDEAL

strangling smoke and an empty night
sobs and tears and a lonely fight
wasted words and a recycle bin
lips moves to a dizzy din

burning cigaratee and a bruised heart
ashes pile up on a unhealing cut
A pen and a long paper stack
writing the obituary in pitch black

melting sweat and a raging bloodstream
Some ruins of old broken dreams
feeble fingers and a dead cell
a humming silence and a long ordeal
